LETTER TO CLERK TO JOINT COMMITTEE FROM BALLINASLOE URBAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

With reference to your letter of the 31st December, I wish to state that the NBA are just now completing a 57 house scheme on behalf of the Council.

The Council are very pleased with the way in which this scheme has been handled by the Agency, and are very satisfied with the consultation concerning house design and construction programme. The supervision has been excellent and the work done so far has been good. The Town Engineer considers that the way the Agency is handling this scheme on behalf of the Council has been a definite improvement on the methods adopted by the Council hitherto for housing construction.
