2. Members Present

The following members were present:—

Deputy O’Toole (in the Chair), Deputies N. Andrews, Belton, V. Brady, Kenneally, Morley and Woods.

3. The Committee deliberated.

4. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts 1976

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the period 1 January 1976 to 31 December 1976 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—

Charitable Donations and Bequests, Office of the Minister for Justice, Garda Síochána, Prisons, Courts, Land Registry and Registry of Deeds.

5. Witnesses Examined

Miss A. Tormey (Secretary, Commissioners of Charitable Donations and Bequests), Mr. A. Ward (Secretary, Department of Justice) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

6. Adjournment

The Committee adjourned at 12.25 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday next.
