1. The Committee met at 10.30 a.m.

2. Members Present

The following members were present:—

Deputy O’Toole (in the Chair), Deputies N. Andrews, Belton, V. Brady, V. de Valera, Kerrigan, C. Murphy and F. O’Brien.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts 1975

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the period 1 January 1975 to 31 December 1975 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—

Comptroller and Auditor General, Health, Social Welfare, Posts and Telegraphs.

4. Witnesses Examined

Mr. P. L. Mac Domhnaill (Secretary and Director of Audit), Dr. B. J. Hensey (Secretary, Department of Health), Mr. C. Collins (Secretary, Department of Social Welfare), Mr. P. L. Ó Réagáin (Secretary, Department of Posts and Telegraphs) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. The Committee deliberated.

6. Adjournment

The Committee adjourned at 12.50 p.m. sine die.
