1. The Committee met at 3.45 p.m.


2. Members Present.


The following members were present:—


Deputy Esmonde (in the Chair), the Minister for Lands, Deputies Brennan, Daly, Barry Desmond, Haughey, Hogan O’Higgins, Kenny, Kitt, L’Estrange, John O’Leary, Pattison and Tunney.


3. Consideration of Bill.


The Committee resumed consideration of the Bill.


(i) Section 29.


Question again proposed:—


“That the section, as amended, stand part of the Bill.”


Question put, and agreed to.


(ii) Section 30.


Question “That the section stand part of the Bill”, put: the Committee divided: For, 6; Against, 6.


For:—Minister for Lands, Deputies Esmonde, Hogan O’Higgins, Kenny, L’Estrange and Pattison.


Against:—Deputies Brennan, Daly, Haughey, Kitt, John O’Leary and Tunney.


The Question was declared negatived accordingly.


(iii) Sections 31 and 32 agreed to.


(iv) Section 33.


Amendment proposed (Minister for Lands):


“In page 28, subsection (2), to delete ‘or trap gun’ from line 21.”


Amendment agreed to.


Section, as amended, agreed to.


(v) Sections 34 to 36 inclusive, agreed to.


Further consideration of the Bill adjourned.
