1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present

The following members were present:—

Deputy de Valera (in the Chair), Deputies H. Gibbons, C. Murphy, Toal and Tunney.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts 1974

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the period 1 April 1974 to 31 December 1974 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Valuation and Ordnance Survey, Rates on Government Property, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Vocational Education, Residential Houses and Special Schools, Higher Education.

4. Witnesses Examined

Mr. D. F. Ryan (Commissioner of Valuation), Mr. D. Ó Laoghaire (Secretary, Department of Education), Mr. C. K. McGrath (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment

The Committee adjourned at 1.05 p.m. sine die.
