1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:

Deputy de Valera (in the Chair), Deputies H. Gibbons, Moore, C. Murphy and Toal.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1972-73.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1972-73 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:— National Gallery, Office of the Minister for Education, Primary Education, Vocational Education, Reformatory and Industrial Schools, Universities and Colleges and Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies.

Further consideration of the following Account was postponed:—Secondary Education.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Dr. J. White (Director, National Gallery), Mr. D. Ó Laoghaire (Secretary, Department of Education) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 1.15 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday next.
