1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy de Valera (in the Chair), Deputies Bermingham, H. Gibbons, Governey, Griffin, Mac Sharry, C. Murphy and Pattison.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1972-73.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1972-73 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:— Roinn na Gaeltachta, Comptroller and Auditor General, Houses of the Oireachtas, Health, Secondary Education.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. L. Tóibín (Secretary, Department of the Gaeltacht), Mr. M. Jacob (Secretary and Director of Audit), Mr. M. J. Healy (Clerk of the Dáil), Dr. B. Hensey (Secretary, Department of Health), Mr. D. Ó Laoghaire (Secretary, Department of Education) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 1.45 p.m. sine die.
