IMEACHTAÍ AN CHOISTE SPEISIALTA.

PROCEEDINGS OF THE SPECIAL COMMITTEE.

2. Comhaltaí i Láthair.

Bhí na comhaltaí seo a leanas i láthair:—

An Teachta Barra Deasún (sa Chathaoir), an tArd-Aighne, na Teachtaí Mac Aindriú, Ó Brosnacháin, de Valera, Anraí Dockrell, Mac Ionnrachtaigh, Easmonn, Ó Máille agus Mac Páidin.

3. An Bille a Bhreithniú.

Chrom an Coiste ar an mBille a bhreithniú.

(i) Aontaíodh ailt 1 agus 2.

(ii) Alt 3.

Tairgeadh leasú (An Teachta Ó Máille):

“In page 3, subsection (7), lines 11 and 12, to delete ‘or by reason of other experience or of other special qualifications or training’ and to substitute ‘or such persons as shall be recommended to the Government by the Commissioners as having suitable qualifications for such appointment’.”

Tarraingíodh siar an leasú, faoi chead.

Tairgeadh leasú (An Teachta Ó Máille):

“In page 3, line 11, before ‘experience’ to insert ‘relevant’ and to delete ‘ or of other’ and substitute ‘and’; and in line 12, after ‘training’ to insert ‘in any of the social sciences, explicitly stated in the announcement of appointment’.”

“In page 3, subsection (9), line 21, to insert ‘under statute’ after ‘duties’.”
