PROCEEDINGS OF THE SPECIAL COMMITTEE.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Attorney General, Deputies Andrews, Brosnan, Gerard Collins, Barry Desmond, de Valera, Henry P. Dockrell, Enright, Esmonde, O’Malley and Pattison.

3. Election of Chairman.

Motion made (Deputy Esmonde):

“That Deputy Barry Desmond be Chairman of the Committee.”

Question put and agreed to.

Deputy Barry Desmond took the Chair accordingly.

4. Notice of Amendments.

Ordered: That notice of proposed amendments be given not later than 12 noon on Monday, 17th February, 1975: Provided that amendments could be moved without notice.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 11.22 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, 18th February, 1975.
