Committee Reports::Interim and Final Report - Appropriation Accounts 1972 - 1973::30 October, 1975::Appendix

APPENDIX 16.

EXTRA REMUNERATION—NOTING IN APPROPRIATION ACCOUNTS

12 Meán Fómhair, 1975.

An Cléireach,

An Coiste um Chuntais Phoiblí.

I am directed by the Minister for Finance to refer to the existing practice of noting in Appropriation Accounts, payments to individual officers of extra remuneration exceeding £100.

The Minister feels that in view of the change in money values since the limit was last revised in 1967/68 the figure of £100 should be increased to £200, with effect from the 1975 Appropriation Accounts.

The Minister trusts the Committee will concur in this proposal.
