PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE

1. The Committee met at 10 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputies R. Burke, E. Collins, Dowling, FitzGerald, H. Gibbons, MacSharry, Nolan, Treacy and Tunney.

3. Mr. E. F. Suttle (Comptroller and Auditor General) was in attendance in an advisory capacity.

4. Election of Temporary Chairman.

Motion made (Deputy Tunney):

“That in the unavoidable absence of the Chairman, Deputy Collins do take the Chair for this meeting.”

Question put, and agreed to.

Deputy Collins took the Chair accordingly.

5. Consideration of the form of a draft Final Report was resumed.

6. Sitting Suspended.

The sitting was suspended at 1 p.m. until 2.30 p.m. today.

7. The Committee met again at 2.30 p.m.

8. Consideration of the form of a draft Final Report was resumed.

9. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 4.35 p.m. until 2.15 p.m. on Wednesday next.
