PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE

1. The Committee met at 4.15 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy Patrick Hogan (in the Chair), Deputies Barrett, R. Burke, E. Collins, FitzGerald, H. Gibbons, Keating, MacSharry, Nolan and Tunney.

3. Mr. E. F. Suttle (Comptroller and Auditor General) was in attendance in an advisory capacity.

4. The Committee noted a reply* of 10 May from the Editor of “This Week” to its request for a document.

5. The Committee deliberated.

6. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 5.30 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday 28 May 1971.
