1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.


2. Members Present.


The following members were present:—


Deputy Patrick Hogan (in the Chair), Deputies Briscoe, R. Burke, E. Collins, H. Gibbons, Keating, MacSharry, Treacy and Tunney.


3. Mr. E. F. Suttle (Comptroller and Auditor General) was in attendance in an advisory capacity, accompanied by Mr. S. Mac Gearailt.


4. The Committee went into public session.


5. Witnesses Examined.


Examination of Captain Kelly was resumed.


6. Captain Kelly withdrew.


7. The Committee went into private session.


8. Ordered: that Captain Kelly be invited to make a written submission on any further point he might wish to make at this stage.


9. Adjournment.


The Committee adjourned at 1.30 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Tuesday next.
