The following members were present:—


Deputy de Valera (in the Chair), Deputies Keating and O’Kennedy, Senators Kelly and Sheldon.


3. Appearances for the Promoters.


Mr. T. Vincent Davy, S.C., Mr. Francis Murphy, S.C., and Messrs. Maxwell Weldon and Co., Parliamentary Agents appeared for the Promoters, the Dublin Cemeteries Committee


4. Reports on the Bill.


Reports on the Bill from the Department of Justice and the Commissioners of Charitable Donations and Bequests for Ireland were read.


5. Hearing in Support of Preamble


Mr. T. Vincent Davy, S.C., and Mr. Francis Murphy S.C. were heard in support of the Preamble of the Bill and called evidence.


6. Witnesses Examined.


Mr. James R. C. Green, Chairman, and Mr. Edward A. Maguire, Secretary, of the Dublin Cemeteries Committee sworn and examined.


7. Adjournment.
