1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were presents—

Deputy Patrick Hogan (South Tipperary) (in the Chair), Deputies Briscoe, Patrick J. Burke and Healy.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1967-68.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1967-68 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:— Lands, Forestry, Health and Central Mental Hospital.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. T. Ó Brien (Secretary, Department of Lands), Mr. P. S. Ó Muireadhaigh (Secretary, Department of Health), Miss M. Breathnach and Mr. L. O’Neill (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 1 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday next.
