1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy Patrick Hogan (South Tipperary) (in the Chair), Deputies Patrick J. Burke, Cluskey, Healy and Molloy.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1966-67.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1966-67 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Transport and Power, Office of the Revenue Commissioners, Office of the Minister for Justice, Garda Síochána, Prisons, Courts and Land Registry and Registry of Deeds.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. D. Ó Riordáin (Secretary, Department of Transport and Power), Mr. S. Réamonn (Chairman, Revenue Commissioners), Mr. P. Berry (Secretary, Department of Justice), Mr. J. Whelan and Mr. P. S. MacGuill (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.
