1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.


2. Members Present.


The following members were present:—


Deputy Patrick Hogan (South Tipperary) (in the Chair), Deputies Andrews, Briscoe, Patrick J. Burke, Healy, Molloy and Treacy.


3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1967-68.


Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1967-68 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Labour, Public Works and Buildings and Stationery Office.


4. Witnesses Examined.


Mr. T. Ó Cearbhaill (Secretary, Department of Labour), Mr. H. J. Mundow (Chairman, Commissioners of Public Works), Mr. B. Ó Brolcháin (Controller, Stationery Office), Miss M. Breathnach, Mr. P. S. MacGuill and Mr. J. R. Whitty (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.


5. Adjournment.


The Committee adjourned at 1.15 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday next.
