The following members were present:— Deputy Jones (in the Chair), Deputies Briscoe, Patrick J. Burke, Crowley, Patrick Hogan (South Tipperary) and Kenny. 3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1965-66. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1965-66 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Transport and Power, Office of the Revenue Commissioners, Office of the Minister for Justice, Garda Síochána, Prisons, Courts and Land Registry and Registry of Deeds. 4. Witnesses Examined. Mr. D. O’Riordan (Secretary, Department of Transport and Power), Mr. S. Réamonn (Chairman, Revenue Commissioners), Mr. P. Berry (Secretary, Department of Justice), Mr. C. J. Byrnes, P. S. Mac Guill and M. Ó Murchadha (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined. 5. Adjournment. The Committee adjourned at 1.20 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday, 13th April, 1967. |
