REPORT.

1. The Joint Committee reports that it has examined the Preamble of the Bill and it has found that the allegations therein contained have been proved to its satisfaction.


2. The Committee has gone through the Bill and has made amendments to section 3 in order to ensure that (a) the plot proposed to be acquired under paragraph 4 (a) of the proposal set forth in the Schedule is consecrated in accordance with the rites of the French Reformed Church, (b) certain re-interments are carried out in the said plot in accordance with the rites of the said French Reformed Church, (c) perpetual care is taken of the plot, and (d) exhumations are supervised by an officer of the Corporation of Dublin and in the case of re-interments by an officer of the sanitary authority in whose functional area the place of re-interment is situate.


3. In going through the Bill the Committee had before it, and considered, reports from the Department of Local Government and the Commissioners of Charitable Donations and Bequests for Ireland. It has given effect to the recommendations contained in those reports.
