PROCEEDINGS OF THE STANDING JOINT COMMITTEE

1. The Committee met at 4.30 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:

Deputies Booth, de Valera, Kyne, Patrick Lenihan and Sweetman; Senators Crowley, O’Quigley, Eoin Ryan and Yeats.

3. Election of Chairman.

Motion made (Senator Eoin Ryan):

“That Deputy Sweetman be Chairman of the Committee.”

Question put, and agreed to.

Deputy Sweetman took the Chair accordingly.

4. The Committee deliberated.

5. Adjournment.
