PROCEEDINGS OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE.

1. The Committee met at 4.30 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputies Booth and de Valera; Senators Nash, O’Quigley and Sheldon.

3. Election of Temporary Chairman.

The Clerk of the Committee announced that the Chairman, Deputy Sweetman, was unable to attend because of illness.

Motion made (Deputy Booth):

“That Senator Sheldon be Chairman of this meeting.”

Question put, and agreed to.

Senator Sheldon took the Chair accordingly.

4. Consideration of Bill.

The Committee took the Bill into consideration.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 4.50 p.m. sine die.
