At the proceedings of the Committee on 30th June, 1966, I undertook to furnish information regarding the grant for free books in National Schools. The information is as follows:—

Of the total expenditure of £3,730 on free books in National Schools in the year ended 31st March, 1965, £1,536. 19. 11 related to schools in the County Borough of Dublin.
