CONTRIBUTIONS TO KILKENNY DESIGN WORKSHOPS LTD.

At the meeting of the Public Accounts Committee on the 30th June, 1966, I undertook to furnish information about contributions by industry to Kilkenny Design Workshops Ltd. To date the Company has received the following donations:

(1) $3,000 (approx. £1,000) from a Mr. Geraghty, a U.S.A. citizen, towards the provision of library facilities.

(2) An annual scholarship of £500 from Associated Electrical Industries Ireland Ltd. for a minimum of 5 years.

(3) A total of £1,450 from various firms as prizes in a Design Competition currently being organised by Kilkenny Design Workshops.
