*In October, 1964, the flock of sheep, then numbering 907 animals vaued at £2,520, was handed over to An Foras Talúntais who engaged in the Park in research work in connection with mountain sheep. An Foras will be transferring their operation elsewhere in about a year and the value of the sheep as handed over will be taken into consideration in the settlement of accounts with them.
