Committee Reports::Report - Appropriation Accounts 1963 - 1964::10 March, 1966::Appendix

APPENDIX XXXII.

FORMAT OF CERTAIN ESTIMATES.

Cléireach an Choiste um Chuntais Phoiblí.

I am directed by the Minister for Finance to inform the Committee of Public Accounts that, with a view to better presentation and to simplifying accounting processes, it is proposed to amalgamate the Estimate for the Office of Public Works with that for Public Works and Buildings under the title Public Works and Buildings and also to adopt a revised format for the Estimate for Agricultural Grants. Copies of the Estimates as revised in accordance with these proposals are enclosed.

The Minister trusts that the Committee will accept the proposed changes in the Estimates, which it is hoped to effect as from 1965/66. They will not significantly affect the information at present furnished in relation to the Estimates concerned, nor will they reduce financial control.

(Signed) SEÁN F. MURRAY,

Department of Finance.

4 Nollaig, 1964.

Cléireach an Choiste um Chuntais Phoiblí.

I am directed by the Minister for Finance to inform the Committee of Public Accounts that, with a view to better presentation and to simplifying accounting processes, it is proposed to adopt a revised format for the Estimate for Roinn na Gaeltachta as set out in the enclosure to this minute. The Minister trusts that the proposed revised format, [subsequently modified version set out under] which it is hoped to adopt as from 1965/66, will be acceptable to the Committee. It does not significantly affect the information at present furnished in relation to the Estimate for Roinn na Gaeltachta.

(Signed) SEAN F. MURRAY,

Department of Finance.
