During my examination before the Committee of Public Accounts on 21st May, 1964, I undertook to furnish the Committee with a statement reconciling the figure of £40,019 16s. 8d. appearing in the Government Publications Sale Office Trading and Profit and Loss Account for the year ended 31st March, 1963, and the receipts totalling £36,623 appearing at 1. of the Appropriations in Aid subhead of the Appropriation Account of the Vote for Stationery Office, 1962-63. The statement is attached.
