In the course of my examination before the Committee of Public Accounts on 14th May, 1964, a question was raised regarding the nature of the special duties for which a Reporter on the staff of the Houses of the Oireachtas received an allowance of £103 in 1962-63. The duties in question related to the training of auxiliary reporters.
