1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy Jones (in the Chair), Deputies Belton, Patrick J. Burke, Carter, Clinton, Cunningham, Nicholas Egan, Kenny and Lalor.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1961-62.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1961-62 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Employment and Emergency Schemes, Office of Public Works and Public Works and Buildings.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. R. Ó hÉigeartaigh (Director, Employment and Emergency Schemes), Mr. H. J. Mundow (Chairman, Commissioners of Public Works), Miss M. Bhreathnach (An Roinn Airgeadais) and the Secretary and Director of Audit were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 12.20 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday next.
