The following members were present:— Deputy Colley (in the Chair), the Minister for Industry and Commerce, Deputies Booth, Byrne, Cosgrave, D. Costello, de Valera, K. P. Egan, Gallagher, Norton, T. G. O’Donnell and Sweetman. 3. Consideration of Bill. The Committee resumed consideration of the Bill. (i) Sections 130 to 140 inclusive, agreed to. (ii) Section 141. Amendment proposed (Deputy D. Costello): “To delete subsections (6) and (7) and substitute the following subsection: ‘() A resolution shall be an extraordinary resolution when it has been passed in the manner provided in this section for the passing of a special resolution at a meeting of which not less than 7 days notice specifying the intention to propose the resolution as an extraordinary resolution has been duly given.”’ Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. Section agreed to. (iii) Sections 142 to 146 inclusive, agreed to. Further consideration of the Bill adjourned. 4. Adjournment. The Committee adjourned at 9.40 p.m. until 7.30 p.m. on Tuesday, 7th March, 1963. |
