PALLASKENRY GARDA STATION: TENURE.

With reference to the question of the tenure of Pallaskenry Garda Síochána Station, Co. Limerick, raised during my examination before the Committee of Public Accounts on 17th November, 1960, I wish to state that the station is held on an eighteen years’ lease from 1951 and yearly thereafter, the State being responsible for all maintenance and refunding rates on production of receipts.

A bathroom and sanitary facilities were the subject of the expenditure in the Appropriation Account for Vote 9.
