THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy Dillon (in the Chair), Deputies J. Brennan, S. Browne, Carty, Cunningham, and Haughey.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1957-58.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1957-58 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:— Posts and Telegraphs, Wireless Broadcasting, External Affairs and International Co-operation.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. L. Ó Broin (Secretary, Department of Posts and Telegraphs), Mr. C. C. Cremin (Secretary, Department of External Affairs), Mr. P. S. Mac Guill, Mr. J. Mooney and Mr. S. Ó Buachalla (Department of Finance), and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 12.05 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday, 9th April, 1959.
