At the proceedings of the Public Accounts Committee on the 20th March, during my examination in connection with the Appropriation Account of the Vote for Commissions and Special Inquiries (No. 15) for the year 1956/57, I undertook to furnish information as to the cost to 31st March, 1957 of the various commissions, including the cost of the staff borne by other Votes. A table giving the desired information is annexed for the information of the Committee. A table prepared on the same basis will in future be included in the Appropriation Accounts of this Vote, in lieu of the existing table. (Signed) T. K.
