In the course of my examination on 8th July, 1954, before the Committee of Public Accounts, I undertook to submit a statement giving details in connection with the expenditure of £41,703 17s. 6d. out of subhead A of the Vote for Technical Assistance (No. 70) for 1952-53. A statement accordingly is attached hereto.
