THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy Sheldon (in the Chair), Deputies Mrs. Crowley, Cunningham, McGrath, Ormonde, D. J. O’Sullivan and Palmer.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1951-52.

Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1951-52 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Lands, Forestry and Gaeltacht Services.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. T. O’Brien (Secretary, Department of Lands), Mr. M. Breathnach and Mr. J. Mooney (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 11.35 a.m. until Wednesday, 29th July.
