PROCEEDINGS OF THE SELECT COMMITTEE.

Dé hAoine, 12ú Nollaig, 1952.

Friday, 12th December, 1952.

1. The Committee met at 12 noon.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

The Minister for Justice, the Parliamentary Secretary to the Government, Deputies Allen, Belton, Colley, Cowan, M. Dockrell, Hillery, MacEoin and T. O’Sullivan.

3. Election of Chairman.

Deputy T. O’Sullivan moved:

“That the Parliamentary Secretary to the Government be Chairman of the Committee.”

Question put, and agreed to.

The Parliamentary Secretary to the Government took the Chair accordingly.

4. Report of Debates.

Ordered: That the debates of the Committee be not officially reported.

5. Witnesses.

The Committee decided to postpone consideration of the question of calling witnesses.

6. The Committee deliberated.

7. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 12.35 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Friday, 19th December.
