APPENDIX XXI.

RECOVERY OF £100 FROM THE GRAND CANAL COMPANY IN RESPECT OF ROBERTSTOWN HOUSE, CO. KILDARE.

The premises known as Robertstown House, the property of the Grand Canal Company, were taken over under the Emergency Powers Order, 1939, on 10th January, 1942, for the housing of turf workers engaged on the special scheme for the production of turf for use in the non-turf areas. Possession of the premises was surrendered to the Company on the 24th January, 1949, and the Company paid the sum of £100 in respect of such fixtures and fittings as the State would be entitled to remove from the premises.
