THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present:

The following members were present:

Deputy Derrig (in the Chair), Deputies Briscoe, J. J. Collins, S. Collins, Mrs. Crowley, Davern, Gilbride, Kitt, M. O’Sullivan and Sheldon.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1948-49.

Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1948-49 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Office of Public Works and Public Works and Buildings.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. D. Ó hEigceartuigh (Chairman, Commissioners of Public Works), Mr. J. Mooney and Mr. M. Breathnach (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor-General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 1 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday, 23rd November.
