QUANTITIES AND COST OF TURF PURCHASED FOR ARMY USE

The quantities of turf delivered by the agents appointed in the Galway and Kerry areas and the all-in costs, including an estimated sum for Army Transport used for conveyance of some of the turf, were as follows:—

The Kerry agent only recently submitted a final account, in which he claims a further sum of £1,202. This account is being examined, and it cannot be stated at this stage what payment (if any) will be made on foot of it.
