IMEACHTA AN CHOISTE SPEISIALTA.

PROCEEDINGS OF THE SPECIAL COMMITTEE.

1. The Committee met at 11.30 a.m.

2. Present: Senators D. Burke, Hawkins, Loughman, McCartan, S. O’Farrell and Richards Orpen.

3. It was announced that the Chairman was unavoidably absent.

Senator O’Farrell moved:

“That Senator Loughman act as Chairman in the absence of Senator Fitzsimons.”

Question put, and agreed to.

Senator Loughman took the Chair accordingly.

4. The Committee resumed consideration of the Bill.

Section 1.

Question again proposed:—“That the section stand part of the Bill.”

Debate ensued.

Further consideration of the Bill adjourned.

5. The Committee adjourned at 1.55 p.m. until 11.30 a.m. on Thursday, 21st July.
