THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Déardaoin, 18ú Samhain, 1948.

Thursday, 18th November, 1948.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Present: Deputy Mac Entee (in the Chair), Deputies Coburn, J. J. Collins, Commons, Dockrell, Fitzpatrick, Gilbride, Kitt, M. O’Sullivan and Sheldon.

3. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1946-47 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Agriculture, Agricultural Produce Subsidies, Fisheries, Posts and Telegraphs, Wireless Broadcasting and Comptroller and Auditor-General.

4. Seán Ó Broin (Secretary, Department of Agriculture), Leon Ó Broin (Secretary, Department of Posts and Telegraphs), Mr. W. E. Wann (Secretary, Exchequer and Audit Department), Mr. C. S. Almond, Mr. F. T. McHenry, Miss Máire Bhreathnach, Mr. J. Mooney (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor-General were examined.

5. The Committee adjourned at 12.50 p.m.
