IMEACHTA AN CHOISTE

THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Dé Céadain, 2ú Meitheamh, 1948.

Wednesday, 2nd June, 1948.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Present: Deputy MacEntee (in the Chair), Deputies Blaney, B. Brady, J. J. Collins, Gilbride, Kitt, Pattison and Sheldon.

In the course of the meeting Deputy Sheldon temporarily occupied the Chair.

3. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1946-47 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of: Office of the Minister for Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Technical Instruction. Science and Art, Reformatory and Industrial Schools, Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies, Lands, Forestry and Gaeltacht Services.

4. Micheál Breathnach (Secretary, Department of Education), Mr. M. Deegan (Secretary, Department of Lands), Miss M. Bhreathnach and Mr. J. Mooney (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor-General were examined.

5. The Committee adjourned at 1 p.m. till Wednesday, 9th June, 1948.
