THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Déardaoin, 16ú Deireadh Fómhair, 1947.

Thursday, 16th October, 1947.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Present: Deputy Cosgrave (in the Chair), Deputies Blowick, Briscoe, Gorry, Lydon, M. O’Sullivan, and Sheldon.

3. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1945-46 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Lands, Forestry, Gaeltacht Services, Army and Army Pensions.

4. Mr. M. Deegan (Secretary, Department of Lands), Lieutenant-General P. MacMahon (Secretary, Department of Defence), Mr. W. E. Wann (Office of the Comptroller and Auditor-General), Mr. C. S. Almond and Miss Máire Breathnach (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor-General were examined.

5. The Committee adjourned at 12.45 p.m.
