1. The Joint Committee met at 4.30 p.m.

2. Present: Ceann Comhairle (Chairman); Minister for Agriculture, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Local Government and Public Health (Deputy Childers); Deputies Bartley, Dillon, McCarthy and D. Morrissey; and Senators Counihan, Duffy, Hayes, Hearne, Kingsmill Moore, O’Dea and Quirke.

3. The Joint Committee deliberated.
