THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Déardaoin, 27adh Meitheamh, 1940.

Thursday, 27th June, 1940.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Present: Deputy Dillon (in the Chair), Deputies Brasier, Hughes, and O’Loghlen.

3. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1938-39 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Lands, Forestry and Gaeltacht Services.

4. Mr. M. Deegan (Secretary, Department of Lands), Mr. G. P. S. Hogan, Mr. T. S. C. Dagg (Department of Finance), and the Comptroller and Auditor-General were examined.

5. The Chairman brought forward a Draft Interim Report, which was read the first and second time and passed.

Ordered: to report accordingly.

6. The Committee adjourned at 12.30 p.m.
