THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Thursday, 1st December, 1938.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Present: Deputy Dillon (in the Chair), Deputies Corry, Keyes, Linehan, McMenamin, O’Loghlen, Smith and R. Walsh.

3. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1936-37 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Agriculture and Fisheries.

4. The Committee adjourned at 1 p.m. till 3 p.m.

5. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Export Bounties and Subsidies, and Comptroller and Auditor-General.

6. Mr. D. Twomey (Secretary, Department of Agriculture), Mr. J. Maher (Secretary, Exchequer and Audit Department), and Mr. A. D. Codling were examined.

7. The Committee adjourned at 3.45 p.m.
