IMEACHTA AN CHOISTE.

THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Dé Céadaoin, 9 Meitheamh, 1937.

Wednesday, 9 June, 1937.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Present: Deputies Beegan, T. Crowley, Goulding, McMenamin, O Briain and Smith.

3. Motion made (Deputy Smith):—

“That Deputy McMenamin be Chairman of this meeting of the Committee.”

Question put and agreed to.

Deputy McMenamin took the Chair accordingly.

4. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1935-36 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Lands, Forestry, Gaeltacht Services, Army, Army Pensions, Comptroller and Auditor-General and Widows’ and Orphans’ Pensions.

5. Mr. Deegan (Secretary, Department of Lands), Seán Ua Móráin (An Roinn Tailte), Lieut.-General P. McMahon (Secretary, Department of Defence), Mr. J. Maher (Exchequer and Audit Department), Mr. A. D. Codling (Assistant Secretary, Department of Finance), Mr. T. S. C. Dagg and Mr. C. S. Almond were examined.

6. The Committee adjourned at 1.15 p.m. till Wednesday next.
