PROCEEDINGS OF THE SELECT COMMITTEE.

1. The Committee met at 5.30 p.m.

2. Present: Deputy Norton (in the Chair), Deputies Costello, Dowdall, Fitzgerald, Fitzgerald-Kenney, Geoghegan, Moore and the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Finance.

3. Mr. J. J. McElligott, Secretary, Department of Finance, was sworn and examined.

4. Mr. J. Leydon, Secretary, Department of Industry and Commerce, was sworn and examined.

5. The Committee deliberated.

6. The Committee adjourned at 6.30 p.m. till 5.30 p.m. on Tuesday next.
