SEANAD EIREANN.ORDERS OF REFERENCE.24th May, 1933:—Resolved: That it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider the Galway Harbour Bill, 1933, being a Bill entitled an Act to reconstitute the Galway Harbour Commissioners on a more representative basis by the name of the Galway Harbour Board, and to incorporate the Galway Harbour Board and to confer powers on the said Board (including borrowing powers) for the care and preservation, improvement and development of the Port and Harbour of Galway, and to provide for the construction and execution of certain works, and to provide for special contributions from and the making of certain rates by the County Council of the County of Galway and the Galway Urban District Council and for other purposes connected with the foregoing matters. Ordered: That a Message be sent to the Dáil accordingly. 31st May, 1933:—Message from the Dáil:— “Dáil Eireann has passed the following Resolution:—That the Dáil concur with the Seanad in their Resolution communicated to the Dáil the 24th day of May, 1933, that it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider the Galway Harbour Bill, 1933.” Ordered: That the Galway Harbour Bill, 1933 be referred to a Joint Committee of both Houses. Ordered: That a message be sent to the Dáil acquainting them accordingly. 7th June, 1933:—Senators appointed to serve on the Joint Committee:— Senators J. C. Dowdall, Sir John Keane and Michael Staines. 7th June, 1933:—Chairman appointed to the Joint Committee:—Senator Michael O’Hanlon. 16th April, 1935:—Following upon the Seanad Triennial Election:— Senators appointed to serve on the Joint Committee:—Senators J. C. Dowdall, Michael Staines and Richard Wilson. 16th April, 1935:—Chairman appointed to the Joint Committee:— Deputy J. M. Dillon. Moore. 8th June, 1933:—Chairman appointed to the Joint Committee:—Senator Michael O’Hanlon. 12th April, 1935:—Following upon the Seanad Triennial Election:—Deputy Dillon discharged from the Joint Committee and Deputy Good appointed in his stead. 1st May, 1935:—Chairman appointed to the Joint Committee:—Deputy J.M.
