1. The Select Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Present: Deputy J. T. Wolfe (in the Chair), Deputies Cooney, Davin, P. S. Doyle, Little, G. Wolfe and the Minister for Justice.

3. Mr. Philip Toohey (Dublin Credit Traders’ Association); Miss T.; two Directors of the Provident Union Discount Co., Ltd.; Mr. W. H. Percival (Power’s Loan Office) and Mr. T. H. B. were examined.

4. The Select Committee adjourned at 1.25 p.m. till 11 a.m. on Wednesday next.
