PROCEEDINGS OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE.

1. The Joint Committee met at 12 noon.

2. Present:—Deputy Morrissey (in the Chair); Deputies Beckett and Wolfe; Senators Dowdall, Farren, Hooper and O’Rourke.

3. Messrs. F. A. Lowe and A. R. Chapman (Dublin Mercantile Association) and Messrs. M. Knightly and W. J. Flynn (Official Reporting Staff, Oireachtas) were called and examined.

4. The Joint Committee adjourned at 1.20 p.m. until 12 noon to-morrow.
